Privacy policy.

How Kresk handles the personal data you share through this website — in plain words.

01Who is responsible

This website is run by Kresk - Tecnologias de Informação, Lda. (“Kresk” or “we”), tax number (NIF) 515222631, Av. D. João II, Lote 1.19.03 7G, 1990-086 Lisboa, Portugal. Kresk is the controller of the personal data described here. For any question about your data, write to [email protected].

02What data we collect

  • Contact form — your name, e-mail address, organisation (optional), the topic, your message and, if you choose to send one, your CV.
  • Security check — to protect the form against spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical data about your browser and connection (such as your IP address) to tell people from bots. It does not use advertising cookies.
  • Website statistics — we count visits in an aggregated, anonymous way, without cookies and without identifying you.
  • Technical logs — our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs (IP address, date, page requested) for security and to keep the site running.

03Why we use it

  • To reply to your message and follow up on your request — legal basis: steps prior to a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering you.
  • To consider your application, when you send a CV — legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To protect the website and the form from abuse — legal basis: our legitimate interest.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used — legal basis: our legitimate interest. No profile of you is created.

04How long we keep it

Messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and for up to 2 years afterwards. CVs are kept for up to 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them earlier or agree to a longer period. Technical logs are kept for a short period defined by our hosting provider.

05Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers, bound by data-processing agreements: Cloudflare (hosting, Turnstile and anonymous statistics) and Microsoft (Azure Communication Services, which delivers the form messages by e-mail, and our e-mail service). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; when they do, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

06Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your language preference is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site opens in the language you chose; it is not sent to us.

07Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format, and you can withdraw any consent you have given. Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

08Changes to this policy
